Standard Shocks
Most standard shocks have a whole catalogue of fundamental faults, they are built down to a price with loose tolerances suited to mass production. Spending money on a stock shock to try to rectify the faults and make it suitable for your weight and use does not offer good value for money, replacing the shock with a good quality after market item is the only sensible option.
We can supply shocks from WP, Ohlins and Wilbers, custom built to your requirements, with the damping and spring rates chosen to match your weight and how you ride.
Shocks shorter than stock can be supplied to lower the seat height of the bike, should you have an obscure bike or are building a project bike we can usually build a shock to suit.
WP Suspension 4014 Shocks
The 4014 series shocks give a much improved ride quality over standard shocks with far better bump compliance, a broader range of adjustment, resulting in improved grip and reduced tyre wear at a very economical price.
Manufactured from CNC machined aluminium, the shocks are lightweight and strong, with good cooling properties reducing fade.
4014 Emulsion Shock
The 4014 emulsion shock is the base model shock for riders who want a quality replacement shock for road, commuting and touring use. The shock features:
- Step Less Spring Preload Adjustment via an easy to use adjuster.
- 16 Position Rebound Damping Adjustment.
- Ride Height Adjustment.
- Hydraulic Preload Adjustment is also available as an optional extra.

4014 Fusion Shock
The 4014 Fusion is a fully adjustable shock designed for motorcycles where space is limited and a remote reservoir is necessary. The reservoir has adjusters for both high-and low-speed compression damping giving a more versatile shock suitable for road, commuting, touring and track day use.

WP & Wilbers Twin Shocks
Available for most twin shock bikes as either a pair of emulsion or spin shocks as above.
Standard Twin Shocks are usually cheap items that offer little in the way of ride comfort and adjustment. These shocks can be specified as and Emulsion or Spin Shock for a massively improved ride quality and range of adjustment.
They are fully rebuildable for servicing rather than the replacement only option of standard shocks.
WP 4618 Competition Shock
Supersport Championships. This damper provides a tighter, sportier damping, which improves the grip and the performance significantly.

Öhlins S46DR1
Ohlins have now introduced the S46DR1 a low-cost mono-tube shock absorber for many entry-level and naked bikes like the BMW F 800 series, Kawasaki ER-6 N/F, Honda CBF, Suzuki Bandit or Yamaha FZ6.

JRI Drag Shock
The JRi MC/08 Motorcycle Damper is custom designed and built specifically for the drag race market. This product is not a road race shock that has been modified to work on the drag strip. The MC/08 offers superior response time and control with JRi’s proprietary low friction bearing design and unique piston configurations.
JRi’s piston design and very fine adjustment gives the perfect curve for drag strip, allowing superior launch characteristics, while maintaining grip all the way down the track.
Used by Bud Yoder on the RMR Hayabusa to set the pro street record of 7.115s at 203mph, users report an average 60ft time of 1.19 to 1.26s.

If your selling a bike that has an aftermarket shock fitted to it, it can often be more economical to convert the shock to fit your new bike rather than having to buy a complete new shock.
