Öhlins Steering Dampers

The Öhlins steering dampers are unique in the way that the oil is pressurised and that the damper has an expansion chamber for temperature control. This avoids the problem of free play on the damping and allows full damping effect even on small movements which will prevent any "headshake" before the rider will notice it.

The temperature control ensures that the damping characteristics remain the same at all working temperatures. Five lengths/strokes are available.

Öhlins also have a limited range of kits complete with a damper and mounting brackets, for bikes not within that range we can also supply Ohlins dampers with fitting kits from other manufacturers.

Ride Height Shim Kit

The Ride Height Shim Kit is a set of three anodised colour-coded aluminium shims, that install between the frame and the upper shock mount.

They are Red 2mm, Blue 3mm, Black 4mm. This allows you to have combinations of 2,3,4,5,6,7 and 9mm of added ride height.

Kits are available with 20,16 and 14mm id.

All Balls Bearing Kits

All Balls manufacture precision bearing kits to upgrade stock bearings or replace worn items. The kits include all the bushes, bearings, seals and spacers that are needed for the particular application.

They are manufactured from the highest quality materials for improved performance and extended life. They have a superior resistance to dirt, water and lack of lubrication which are all factors leading to premature failure.

Kits are available for the following applications:

Wheel Bearings and Seals to repair/ upgrade wheel bearings.
Swing Arm Bearing and Seal Kits.

Penske Lower Preload Adjuster Kit

On bikes with heavily braced swing arms it is often necessary to remove the shock to adjust the preload. This kit fits on to the bottom of the shock which is more accessible allowing the preload to be adjusted with the shock in place.

Penske Fingertip High Speed Adjuster

This CNC-machined adjuster allows you to move the high-speed compression adjuster on the Penske 8987 shock without tools. It fits remote reservoir shocks where the hose enters from the side and all piggyback shocks.

Shock Warmer

A dampers purpose is to absorb energy and convert it in to heat. Heat affects damping in a number of ways, oil viscosity changes becoming thinner as the temperature rises, heat also changes the density of the fluid due to expansion, and mechanical tolerances also change with temperature.

Manufacturers incorporate temperature compensation devices into their dampers which are effective at higher temperatures typically above 60°C. However track testing has revealed that it can take anywhere from 4 to 10 laps to reach this temperature dependant upon operating conditions. Shock dyno testing carried out by ourselves and Penske Racing Shocks has revealed that damping force can decrease by 10% during this warm up period. This means that the damper operation at the start of a race will be much stiffer than at the end of the race.

Pre-heated shock absorbers will ensure consistent damping performance throughout a race, improve tyre wear and increase rider confidence.

The warmer simply wraps around the shock body and fastens with Velcro. It will heat the shock to 60°C in 45 minutes, and is fitted with a long loop for quick removal.

It is available in two lengths for coil-over and non coil-over shocks.

Pre-Load Bearing Kit

This is a simple to install accessory that will make preload adjustments on all threaded collar adjustment shocks substantially easier. The bearing fits between the spring and the preload collar eliminating the friction between the two, requiring much less effort to move the collar.

Traxxion Dynamics Preload Collars

An upgrade that eliminates the old-fashioned spanner-style preload collars that have led to thousands and thousands of bloodied knuckles over the decades!

These CNC-machined collars are made of aluminium for lighter weight, and anodised for corrosion protection and aesthetic appeal. Collars are available for Fox Twin Clicker, Fox TC-R, Penske, Ohlins and Suzuki GSXR's, they are supplied with a pre-load bearing and adjuster tool to allow simple preload adjustment.

Traxxion Dynamics Fork Spring Compressor Kit

The Fork Spring Compressor Kit is a necessity for anyone who intending to service or change springs in an inverted cartridge fork. This kit is design to be used in conjunction with the Traxxion Dynamics Fork Bleed Tool.

Traxxion Dynamics Fork Bleed Tool

The Traxxion Dynamics Fork Bleed Tool is a simple and economical tool to make cartridge fork servicing simple. It is manufactured with thread pitches of 10x1.0, 12x1.0, and 12x1.25mm allowing you to service almost any known street fork.

Pre-load Adjustment Stick

The Pre-load Adjustment Stick is used to make quick adjustments to spring preload on shocks equipped with Traxxion Dynamics Preload Collars, or Penske Racing Shocks. It is made of durable stainless steel.

Reservoir Clamps

Rubber reservoir mounts to prevent vibration and stainless clamps to mount remote reservoirs to bikes and quads.

Fork and Shock Fluid

Pro RSF - Racing Suspension Fluids

We only use Silkolene and Torco Race fluids due to their extremely high viscosity index, which significantly reduces damper fade and their excellent lubricating properties which reduce wear and contamination.

Available in 2.5wt, 5wt, 7.5wt, 10wt & 15wt. All grades can be mixed to suit individual requirements.

Fork Seal Drivers

These rugged Seal Drivers are the standard of the industry, they are used to install seals, wipers and bushings in telescopic forks.

Available for 33, 35, 36/37, 38/39, 40/41, 43, 45/46, 47/48, 49/50mm diameter forks.

Shaft Holding Tools

Holds fork damping rods, cartridges, shock shafts,etc. while servicing. Unique design allows installation of dowels into the top of the vice jaws. The holding tools hang on the dowels instead of dropping on the ground when the vice is opened. Made from aluminium so as not to damage shafts.
