Reactive Suspension was started in January 2002 to provide suspension service and technical support for racers, trackday enthusiasts, and riders dissatisfied with their suspension.
In it's first few months of operation Reactive Suspension were awarded the UK Axxion Centre contract to supply the full range of parts and services for US motorcycle suspension tuning company Traxxion Dynamics.
Reactive Suspension continues to grow supplying technical advise and products to Supermotard, MotoX and ATV racers. The company moved to new premises in October 2004 allowing a big increase in engineering capabilities, and customer support options.

The company is owned by Gareth Evans who through working with top teams such as Loctite Yamaha, Red Bull Ducati, and Honda Britain has over ten years experience of motorcycle suspension and chassis tuning gained in the hardest domestic championship in the world, British Superbikes.
As well as running Reactive Suspension Gareth was contracted to Crescent Suzuki for 3 seasons culminating in John Reynolds 2004 British Championship title. In 2005 Gareth worked for the Suzuki GB team in the Suzuki European Cup.
Gareth started his engineering career as an apprentice marine engineer and with the collapse of the shipbuilding industry went in to Higher Education studying Automotive Engineering from which he graduated and joined Loctite Yamaha.
Gareth has had extensive product and technical training with Traxxion Dynamics and has also attended courses in suspension building and track set-up with Öhlins in the USA.
